When is stock updated?

Stock will be updated as and when time allows. Please see my Facebook page  as I will share information on there. The shop may appear empty if I am at an event exhibiting. The shop will be restocked upon my return.

I’ve seen a colour way I like but I’d like it on another base. Can you do this?

Colourways can be replicated on other bases. Just use the contact tab to order. Please note, however, that each batch of hand dyed is unique- so please ensure you order enough for your project. There may also be variations between each skein so it is recommended to alternate skeins every few rows. Hand dyed is, by its nature, individual.

The yarn comes in a skein. Can you cake it for me?

A caking service is available. There is an extra charge of £1 per skein for this service.
You can ball the yarn by hand yourself. To do this place two chairs back to back approx 30cm apart. Place the untwisted skein over them and move the chairs apart until the skein is taught. Cut the ties carefully- this will reveal two ends. Taking one end gradually wind the yarn into a ball.

What is a yarn club?

A yarn club is a package of surprise yarn. There’s usually a theme and sometimes extra gifts are added. There’s usually a selection of bases and weights on offer to suit preferences. Colour ways are a surprise though!

What are your shipping timescales?

I usually take a trip to the Post Office three times a week. This may vary depending upon workload. If you’re in a rush please do contact us.
Yarn clubs will be dispatched usually around 10 days after the payment cut off date.
For custom orders, please do expect two weeks before dispatch as I my have to order yarn in for these.
The majority of orders are posted via Royal mail.

How do I care for an item once I’ve finished?

The majority of yarns are superwash unless you requested otherwise. Most of the these yarns should withstand machine washing but in all honesty I’d hand wash where possible and dry flat. A small amount of colour run is natural with the first wash, especially when using commercial detergents.

I’d like to place a wholesale order?

What is your returns policy?

I have a 14 day returns policy. This does exclude custom orders, yarn clubs or one off boxes.

Can I collect my order?

This is not normally possible. My work place is also my home and my children’s home.
